Laser printer toner is also known as a ‘laser toner cartridge’. This is a dry powder that’s electrically charged during laser print. The powder is then transferred onto the paper and completed the printing process. This toner is usually found in a cartridge that can be inserted into your printer. A single cartridge can be used to print a thousand pages. The cartridge can then be easily replaced or refilled once it has emptied. The cartridge can be easily replaced and offers two benefits: speed and portability.

There are four types of laser printer inkjet toners on the market. First, there are the toner and inkjet cartridges that are manufactured under their own brand. These are known as OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer), which can include Canon OEM and Epson OEM, Lexmark OEM and Lexmark OEM. The second type of toner cartridge is called ‘Compatible(Generic)’. It is made to match or exceed OEM cartridges. These cartridges are less expensive than OEM ones. The third option is the “Remanufactured/Refurbished” toner cartridge. These can be recycled from OEMs. The last type is referred to as ‘Refill kits’. This is the cheapest way to replace your toner cartridge.

There are many benefits to using laser printer toner cartridges. Laser printer toners can print thousands of pages and are usually less expensive than inkjet cartridges. Laser printer toners can print at a speed that is faster than inkjet cartridges and work with almost all types of paper. Laser toner cartridges are expensive in the beginning. However, they are more affordable over time if you need to print a lot.
