Warrant turns up gun, plastic firearms made with 3D printer

A Stratford man was arrested by police after they found a handgun, ammunition and plastic guns during a search of his home.

The Stratford Police Service executed a search warrant at a Stratford home on Nov. 21.

Police stated in a news release that the warrant was related to firearms and weapons.

Police claimed that several items, including ammunition and a handgun, were taken by police. A number of plastic firearms and parts for firearms were also found.

A 23-year old Stratford man was arrested and charged for weapons and firearm offenses.

The accused was taken into custody while awaiting a bail hearing.
