The Canon ImageClass D680 Printer – A Multi-Functioning Business Printer

Canon ImageClass D680 printer has fax, copier, and printer functions. Canon has been the leader in personal copiers for many years. This printer/copier is intended for business use. It uses Canon’s advanced printing technology in order to produce high-quality printing. This laser printer can print at 600×600 DPI resolution. The laser printer uses one cartridge system, in which the toner and development unit are all contained in one cartridge. This makes it easy to replace.

The machine can print up to 13 copies per hour on A4 paper, and as many as 10 copies per hour on legal paper. The 500-page front loading cassette is large enough to hold 100 sheets of paper. The automatic document feeder is capable of processing documents up to 30 pages in length.

You can connect to your network or computer using a parallel port connection or a USB interface connection. The Axis 1610 Network Adapter can also be added. It runs on Windows 95 or newer or Windows NT 4.0. It comes with a CAPT driver printer. Canon ImageClass D680 printers are covered by a limited warranty of three years. However, certain restrictions and terms apply. You also get a 1-year on-site service warranty.

The Canon ImageClass D680 printer heats up quickly. There is a 13 second warm-up at the start of each day, and then a 1 second warm-up throughout the day. The copier has 6Mb of memory, and the printer 2 MB. The printer features a memory collate function, a toner saving mode, and a photo mode. This machine is Energy Star compliant.

A fax machine can send a page in 3 seconds. It can also hold up to 255 pages. This is a great option if you have a lot of faxes in the evenings or your machine runs out of paper.

There are several options for receivers: fax only, answering machines, manual, fax/telephone switch, DRDP, or fax/telephone switch. Ultrafine mode is used to resolve faxes at 406 x 392 dots per inch. Memory back up, delayed transmission and polling reception are additional networking features.
