Italy’s Aleph launches new feature-rich products at ITMA

Aleph, an Italian leader in sublimation printers and direct-to fabric inkjet printers, launched new products with a wealth of features to help differentiate customers and increase profitability at the ITMA show.

In line with ITMA 2023’s tagline, ‘Transforming the World of Textiles’, Aleph is demonstrating how the company’s advanced technologies enable users to enhance their product portfolio and address new and promising market segments, while also contributing to improve their ecological footprint and make a positive impact on a sustainable future.

Through continued R&D investment and efforts, Aleph has established a broad portfolio offering that addresses the ever-changing market demand and actual needs of print service providers. Debuting worldwide at ITMA on Aleph’s booth (Hall 7 – Stand D50) is the brand-new LAFORTE 400 Fabric H, a hybrid model that enables the pre-treatment of the fabric in line. The printer has extra-special printheads that are designed to finish the pretreatment of the material just before printing. It can achieve a maximum speed of 480 square metres per hour and a three-step process that is easy to handle. The printer utilises Aleph’ GOTS certified pigment inks for improved sustainability, the company said in a press release.

Highlighted on Aleph’s booth will also be the company’s top-of-the-range solution LAFORTE 600 Paper, one the fastest industrial printers in the sublimation fashion market, achieving an industrial speed of up to 1,000 sqm/h. This printer is equipped with the company’s Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex certified sublimation inks and powerful proprietary vacuum transport system that eradicates the use of glues, while also enabling g to print on sublimation paper from 25 gsm. The latest model on display at ITMA also features 4 mirrored colors + 2 mirrored light shades, which results in an improved printing process, increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness for sustainable fashion and textile applications.

LAFORTE 100 Paper was also a standout at the show. It is a roll to roll water-based dyesublimation paper with fluorescent inks. The printer can print at a maximum of 160 sqm/h when in high-quality mode. It also has dual-channelled printing heads for each colour to achieve even better performance. Eco Passport Level 3 certified sublimation water-based inks are available in CMYK+ spot colours, as well as fluorescent dye-sublimation. The LAFORTE Paper is able to handle paper as low as 18gsm, but also can be used with coated paper. It’s designed for high-quality, green, cost-effective and efficient production of sportswear and apparel.

“We return to ITMA with a broader, smarter portfolio of cutting-edge technologies, which has been enabled by some of aleph’s key business strengths – our R&D expertise, our close proximity to customers and our commitment to the environment. We keep a strong focus on the market and this allows us to adapt quickly to market changes and customer opportunities to deliver constant system improvements or brand-new innovations,” said Alessandro Manes, CEO at Aleph. “Visitors to our booth in Milan will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the superior performances of our LAFORTE printing platforms, which can deliver top print quality in a cost-effective way while offering at the same time superior application flexibility.”
