Today, Formlabs Dental introduces a range of new products, software and materials that make digital dentistry easier, more intuitive, and more efficient for dental clinics and practices. Formlabs Dental, the largest dental event in the world, unveils PreForm Dental, new PreForm integrations to intraoral scanners, Fast Arch Printing and Form Auto, Fast Cure and Temporary B Resin. This will make dentistry more accessible.

PreForm Dental is a dental-specific software workspace
PreForm Dental workspace software by Formlabs streamlines 3D printing setup management and monitoring. This allows dental users to click less and do more. PreForm Dental is powered by pre-programmed functions that take into account dental indications. These include material selection, printing setting, support, and material selection. PreForm Dental also automates print setups for restorative and occlusal models. Advanced users can save and create their own presets for layer height and orientation. This allows them to standardize the printing process for everyone in a lab or practice. PreForm Dental workspace comes with every Form 3B/+/3BL printer.
Form Auto: Seamless Removal of Parts
Form Auto allows dental professionals to automate 24/7 printing and automatic part removal. This allows them to increase production and reduce labor costs. Form Auto seamlessly removes parts from Build Platform 2, using the patented Quick Release Technology. The next print is then started. Form Auto allows users to add prints from any location. The queue will be completed as quickly as possible. This extension is compatible with the Form 3B or Form 3B+.
3Shape Producer: A New PreForm Integration
Formlabs Dental and 3Shape teamed up to create an integration that makes dentistry more accessible and intuitive for customers. The new PreForm integration to 3Shape Produce is now available. It allows dental labs and practices to design and print more efficiently using an optimized workflow and one click print when using Splint Studio or Implant Studio.
Fast Arch Printing: 2x faster On-Demand Printing
Fast Arch Printing makes it possible to print eight arch designs in 20 minutes and one arch in 10 minutes. Fast Arch Printing improves productivity. Users can print two times as fast as current settings and go from design to printed in just 20 minutes. This allows for same-day dentistry and rapid, on-demand modelling. Users can now deliver a retainer in under 30 minutes including curing, washing, and thermoforming. Fast Arch Printing can be done on Form 3B, Form 3B+.
Fast Cure: Reducing Cure Time By 90 Percent
Fast Cure, which is designed to unlock same-visit dentistry can cure more than 17 resins in less than six minutes. This saves 90% compared to Form Cure. Fast Cure uses pre-programmed settings without preheating and can cure dental models within one minute. Crowns, bridges, surgical guides, and surgical guards are cured in five minutes. Occlusal guards are cured in six minutes.
Temporary CB Resin – A Tooth-Colored Resin in Bleach Shade
Digitally-produced restorations are quick and collaborative between dentist, technician, or patient. The new Bleach Shade of Temporary Blender CB Resin, which is extra-white, can be used to make temporary crowns, bridge restorations, inlays or onlays as well veneers. This resin provides excellent marginal adaptation, strength and aesthetics. This tooth-colored resin can also be used in traditional temporary cements to repair restorations. It lasts for up to 12 month. After receiving requests from dental customers for the Temporary CB Resin, Formlabs collaborated with Bego to create it. This will allow dental patients to smile brighter.
